On Monday, October 8th, 2012, 15-year-old racer Ben Rhodes headed to Motor Mile Speedway (VA) with his crew chief Lee McCall to test a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East car for the first time. The Louisville, Kentucky, native met with Shige Hattori and Andy Santerre at the track, hopping in a Hattori Racing Enterprises Toyota, turning some fast laps on the track prior to the weather moving in, cutting the session short.
