During a weekend off from racing the #9 Stanley / Alpha Energy Solutions Ford Fusion for Marcos Ambrose Motorsport, 15-year-old Louisville, Kentucky, native Ben Rhodes headed back to his home state for the NASCAR triple-header weekend at Kentucky Speedway.

On Wednesday, June 27th, Rhodes signed autographs in downtown Carrollton during Race Fest, less than 30 minutes from the track. With his race car featured on display in the Walmart booth, Rhodes met a lot of local fans.

“Carrollton’s Race Fest was a lot of fun,” said Rhodes. “There are a lot of local race fans there that couldnít wait for this weekend to get here and they were all smiles, dancing to the music and having a great time. I want to thank Walmart for having my car and me be a part of their booth there, and a big thanks to the radio stations and TV stations that stopped by to interview me.”

Thursday through Saturday, June 28th – 30th, Rhodes’ #9 machine was on display in the infield Fan Zone at the Alpha Energy Solutions booth, just behind the quarter-mile frontstretch oval where he swept all Legends Young Lions division features during the 2011 season before moving up full time to the larger cars.

“It was really hot during the weekend, but that didnít stop the Kentucky fans from coming out to enjoy some racing,” said Rhodes. “We met thousands of fans and signed autographs for them over the three days. It was a great experience and pretty cool to be back at the track where I won 13 races at last year.”

“I want to thank Alpha Energy Solutions for having me be a part of their booth, and I want to thank Kentucky Speedway and all the fans for such a great weekend.”
