Oxmoor Toyota Endorses NASCAR Driver & Louisville Native, Ben Rhodes
The auto group partners with rising Truck Series driver for his first full season of racing in NASCAR’s national touring series
Louisville, Ky (May 19, 2016) – Oxmoor Toyota partners with NASCAR driver and Louisville, Kentucky, native, Ben Rhodes, as he embarks on his first full-time season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS).
19-year-old Rhodes, the 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) Champion, Sunoco Rookie of the Year, and Most Popular Driver as voted by the fans, drives the No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing in the NCWTS.
“We had the pleasure of meeting Ben when he purchased his Tundra at Oxmoor Toyota a few months back, and we were impressed with not only his success on the track, but his professional demeanor and charisma,” said Del Farmer, CEO at Oxmoor Auto Group. “With his connection to the Toyota brand, it was a natural fit for us to form this partnership with Ben. Rhodes, a 2015 Holy Cross High School graduate and a National Honor Society member who has been racing since the age of seven, will hold meet-and-greets at the Oxmoor Auto Group dealerships throughout the year, and shoot various episodes of his TV show, “On Track with Ben Rhodes,” at Oxmoor Toyota. The 30-minute weekly television show features Rhodes and WHAS-TV Sports Anchor, Kent Spencer. The duo interview local Louisville community and business leaders, highlighting Rhodes’ hometown, as well as documenting his racing career.

Rhodes hits the track for his next NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race this Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC). The NC Education Lottery 200 will be televised live on Fox Sports 1, and SiriusXM NASCAR channel 90, at 8:30pm ET.
Kentuckians will have the opportunity to see Rhodes race on July 7 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.
