After spending most of May racing in the South, Ben Rhodes headed to the Midwest to compete at the Indianapolis Speedrome in Indiana on Friday and Saturday, May 27th and 28th. Once again, Rhodes drove his #4 Legends Car to the overall victory on both days, earning the Young Lions division win and Saturday’s National Qualifier, his second of the season.
Rhodes completed the month of May with a near-perfect record. In nine races, Rhodes entered victory lane eight times, and was leading on the last lap of the one race that would have completed a clean sweep of the month, but was wrecked out by another competitor on the final corner (track officials penalized the other driver for the incident).
