After winning three races during the past weekend, giving him 18 total Legends Young Lions division wins in 2011, Ben Rhodes headed to Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on Thursday, May 26th, to test a Late Model with Jamie Yelton and Fat Head Racing. With veteran crew chief Lee McCall also on hand, Rhodes turned multiple laps around the historic track, getting comfortable in the car.
“I had a great time at the test,” said Rhodes. “Jamie, Lee and the Fat Head Racing guys are very professional and great to work with. They made me feel comfortable in the car and we were able to communicate very well together to get the car faster on the track. I am looking forward to our next test with them in the near future.”
