LOUISVILLE, KY (November 19th, 2014) – 17-year-old Louisville, Kentucky, native and NASCAR Next driver Ben Rhodes received another honor Wednesday, November 19th, on top of his already successful season of racing as NASCAR announced he was selected by the fans as the 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Most Popular Driver.

Rhodes, who earned six poles and five wins in his rookie season in the series, clinched the series championship after race 15 of 16 during the season, and a few weeks later was declared the Sunoco Rookie of the Year. The Most Popular Driver award adds a third top-honor award to the list of trophies he will receive at the awards banquet on Saturday, December 13th.

Rhodes also earned more awards than any other driver across seven NASCAR touring divisions internationally.

“It means a lot to know that I have such support with fans behind me, especially here in the Louisville community,” Rhodes told The Courier-Journal.
