The turn of the calendar from June to July occurred this past weekend, but for Legends Young Lions driver Ben Rhodes, the new month continued more of the same as he went on to win his divisional races twice on Saturday, July 2nd, at Anderson Speedway in Indiana.

After qualifying on the pole for the first race, an inversion had Rhodes starting in the fourth position. After being shuffled back through the field, he came back to finish second overall, but was the Young Lions division winner.

In the second feature, Rhodes started last on the field, but still managed to work his way to fourth overall by the time the checkered flag flew, the highest-finishing Young Lions division racer, earning him his second win of the day.

Rhodes will return to the seat of his #4 Legends Young Lions machine at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) on Monday and Tuesday, July 4th and 5th, for the fifth and sixth rounds of the Summer Shootout Series.
