Ben Rhodes Race Recap:

Ben Rhodes, driver of the No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions Toyota Tundra, made his track debut in Sunday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Starting from the rear of the 32-truck field, due to changing brakes following qualifying, Rhodes was involved in a lap 9 accident in Turn 8 that took him out of the race for the remainder of the 66-lap event. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender was credited with a 30th-place finish behind race winner, John Hunter Nemechek.

Quote:

“We are just looking forward to Chicago at this point. This was a tough race for us, and a disappointing day. We had to start at the tail for brake problems, and we changed out the master cylinder. Our brakes started acting up a little bit during the race, and I’m not sure if we didn’t cure the underlying problem, but the transmission also stuck in gear. We’ll go back to the shop and diagnose what really happened, and get ready for Chicago.”
